He is Risen!

Happy Easter guys. As we celebrate the Easter holiday, let us take out time to remember the reason for the season, Jesus Christ who came to die for our sins because of the amount of love God had for us (John 3:16). When Jesus was crucified, do you think those who did knew He would rise from the dead again? Or that the devil knew there was a grand plan playing out? A plan that took us from the law and into grace (John 1:16-17, Rom. 6:14). A plan that ensured that we would no longer need a human high priest and would give us a High Priest that was seated at the right hand of God (Heb. 4:14-16, Heb. 8:1, Heb. 10:12, Heb. 12:2). A plan that brought us into relationship with God, symbolized by the tearing of the curtain when Jesus died (Matt. 27:51). Jesus died and rose again and in doing so enabled us to have a direct relationship with our Father (Heb. 4:16). If Jesus could overcome death and rise again, so can you.
As I thought of this in church today, I thought of how this applied to every area of our life. Whatever may seem dead or be dead, be it dreams, goals, relationships, careers, finances just know that the same God that raised Jesus is going to resurrect those dead areas. All you have to do is cast your cares and worries on Him (Phil. 4:6-7), trust Him (faith) and watch Him bring them back to life. Remember the valley of the bones (Eze. 37:1-14)!
I pray for you today, that every dead area of your life, every desert in your life will come back to life today in Jesus name. Amen.
Happy Easter and remember, He is risen (Matt. 28:6)!

P.S. GoT is back!
